Siemens says turbine delivery delay outside firm's responsibility
WASHINGTON, Jul 22 (PRIME) -- Siemens would like to deliver the turbine for the Nord Stream gas pipeline after repairs as soon as possible, but the deadlines do not only depend on the German firm, the company said in a written statement received by PRIME on Friday.
"Technical servicing of the turbines is a routine operation for us in normal circumstances. Naturally, we want to deliver the turbine to the place of use as fast as possible. But the time necessary for this is not entirely within our competence," the statement read.
